The boys are studying “Flying Creatures of the 5th Day” for science this year, this semester collecting insects to pin on their bug boards (which Ben built–I’ll post pics soon). Here is a great article with amazing pictures my younger sister sent me the link to:

Anders is fascinated by insects and eagerly smooshes them and Larsen has commented that this class is going to be the cause of nightmares as he has never liked bugs or the idea of killing any living thing.
