The Deepest Love

I interviewed a dear friend tonight for part of my work.  All she has been cleaned and freed of has now become her glory, her sin no longer her shame for it points so clear to the Deepest Love.  I turn the light off tonight reminded of the beautiful words to this old hymn; of how much we all are loved.  Such love is all any of us really want anyways. Let us love our husbands fiercly as though they are Jesus and our children no less.  I can think of no other way to do unto others what we would have them to do unto us, than to love like this…

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of His love
Leading onward, leading homeward to Your glorious rest above!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore!
How He loves, ever loves, changes never, nevermore!
How He watches over His loved ones, died to call them all His own;
How for them He intercedes and watches over them from the throne!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
An ocean full of blessing, a haven giving rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Him!

    I linked you today, because–well–just because.

    Been sneaking around Kim and Joy’s, too. It’s good to see Hansen pictures.
